Hi, I installed this drive succesfully and it's bootable (from CD) (OS X & 9.2). I installed the Patchburn II software and it's recognized in both iTunes and the Finder. iTunes shows a maximum write speed of 24 x, while Toast seems to display the correct speed for a CDR (40x), and 8 x for DVD+R (8-speed Disc).
