    hallo...
    ich habe das PHP-modul in der httpd.conf aktiviert nach der anleitung im buch "mac os x hacks" (o'reilly). ich habe folgend zeilen ent-kommentiert:

    LoadModule php4_module libexec/httpd/libphp4.so
    AddModule mod_php4.c

    und habe folgendes hinzugefügt:
    #...for PHP 4.x Use:
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

    <IfModule mod_dir.c>
    DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php
    </IfModule>

    nach einem neustart (sudo apachectl restart) & einer abfrage des error logs bekomme ich:
    [notice] Apache/1.3.27 (Darwin) PHP/4.1.2 configured -- resuming normal operations
    ...
    trotzdem kann weder safari noch mozilla keinerlei PHP-code interpretieren. ich bekomme nicht einmal <? phpinfo() ?> !!!

    was kann das sein!
    schönen gruss
    s_mart

    PS: ausserdem begrüsst mich das terminal immer mit:

    Welcome to Darwin!
    Bad : modifier in $ (/).
    smart% ;(

    öffne mal die Console (Applications/Console).
    Schalt dann Personal Web Sharing aus und wieder ein.
    Was steht in der Console?

    Hm, also das scheint zu klappen. (Hab mich auch schon im config-File vertippt. Dann gings nicht).

    Wie heissen denn deine php-Dateien und was ist genau ihr code?

    die files heissen index.php bzw. test.php.
    es geht momentan nur darum um zu sehen ob es funzt.

    <HTML>
    <HEAD>
    </HEAD>
    <body>
    <h3> served by Mac OS X </h3>
    <? phpinfo() ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    später möchte iche ein administration die ich mal für ein praktikum unter windose über odbc & m$ ACCESS realisiert habe, portieren & mit mysql beteiben.

  18. Ich weiß nicht ob du das so geschrieben hast,
    aber es müsste doch

    PHP:
    <?php
    phpinfo
    ();
    ?>
    heißen.

    mach mal ein einfaches
    PHP:
    <?php echo "hallo"?>
    und was passiert dann beim aufruf.
    Was steht in den lokfiles???
